Our story

Sean and the depot

Sean Redden grew up in Madeira and raised his family here. He started in restaurant kitchens at 15, spent more than 25 years as a chef, moved into restaurant sales, then opened this shop in the vacant train depot.

He learned the trade from fellow local butchers and hires former restaurant chefs, who get creative with the weekly sausages. Family owned and operated, in the heart of Madeira.

“The butcher shop community really kinda looks out for each other.”
